Abstract
Currently many buildings have been erected and cause various environmental problems. This is
due to inappropriate development or lack of attention to its impact on the surrounding environment, for
example, the large use of glass in buildings, maximizing land use without thinking about the importance
of reforestation, reduced water catchment areas, and excessive use of energy. These various problems
can be solved by saving energy in buildings, correct building orientation, and choosing the right use of
building materials. Therefore, the use of natural resources should be considered in depth in development,
so as to minimize the use of excess energy in a building. In addition, the architectural design of a building
must also consider various factors, such as weather, location, green areas, and so on. In the form of the
building not only has an attractive appearance, but also has a function that can benefit all parties, both
humans themselves and their surroundings. The research method is carried out by observing and
collecting data related to architecture with renewable resources. From the results of the study, it was
found that the use of renewable resources was able to reduce the level of energy use in buildings
