Abstract

The development of industry-star hotel in Surabaya continues to increase in each year, resulting in fierce competition between the hospitality industry. One effort to be competitive is to pay attention to human resources, namely the employee. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of career development (X1), leadership (X2), work environment (X3) and salaries (X4) on job satisfaction (Y) employees of the Sheraton Surabaya Hotel and Towers. As for the population in this study are employees of the Sheraton Surabaya Hotel and Towers and the samples taken as many as 171 respondents. The sampling method used was probability sampling by distributing questionnaires and were analyzed using SPSS 24. The results of this study are as follows: the coefficient of determination of0.443 or 44.3%, this indicates that the influence of career development, leadership, work environment and salary on job satisfaction. The first hypothesis suggested a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction based on test results, namely thitung 5.224> 1.974 ttable with significant value 0,000 (<5% or 0.05). A second hypothesis states that the existence of positive and significant impact on job satisfaction based on test results, namely thitung 2.689 > ttable1.974 with significant value0.008 (<5% or 0.05). The third hypothesis states that the existence of positive and significant impact on job satisfaction by t-test, namelythitung 3,300 > ttable 1,974with significant value0.001 (<5% or 0.05). The fourth hypothesis states that the existence of positive and significant impact on job satisfaction by t-test, namelythitung 5,479> ttable 1,974 with significant value 0,000 (<5% or 0.05).
