Abstract

PT. Sarana Mandiri Indonesia is one of manufacturing companies that produce household clenaing products, such as carbol, floor cleaner liquid, glass cleaner, car shampoo, softener, dish soap, and hand soap. Their production activities mostly use human labor so far, while for human resources itself is still limited. This study aims to find what are the weaknessses in the company’s production so that companies can perform production effectively and efficiently. This study is qualitative approach, where the research is oriented toward natural phenomena and tends to use analysis with an inductive approach to express the problem. Data analysis technique is descriptive analysis. The steps taken are to identify, analyze the results of identification, and then describethe resultsof observations that have been obtained. From these observations some of their weaknesses were found, among of them is the weakness of teh company’s production system which caused by they did’t have Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that related to production information system.
