Abstract

Business competition in Indonesia which is very fast is an interesting phenomenon to be observed, especially with globalization in the economic sector which opens up opportunities to compete to attract local consumers. One of the businesses that is growing rapidly in Indonesia is hospitality. The purpose of this study was to determine whether reputation, electronic word of mouth (EWOM), price and service quality influence the decision to stay at the Blue Sky Hotel Petamburan Jakarta. The data analysis technique in this study was to use a validity test whose results were declared valid because all the r count values in this study were > from r table. The results of the reliability test showed that all variables had Cronbach's Alpha > 0.60 so that it was stated that all the variables studied were reliable or consistent. The classic assumption test consists of 3 (three) tests, namely the normality test where the results show that the variables X1, X2, X3, X4, and Y are normally distributed, the multicollinearity test where the tolerance value of all variables is > 0.1 and the VIF value is <10.00 which states that this regression model does not experience multicollinearity or non-multicollinearity, and the heteroscedasticity test which indicates that this regression model does not experience symptoms of heteroscedasticity. The results of the multiple linear regression test are Y = 2.941 + 0.285 X1 + 0.006 X2 + 0.015 X3 + 0.294 X4. The coefficient of determination in this study shows that the value of the adjusted R square is 0.345 or 34.5%, which means that the independent variables in this study make a low contribution to the dependent variable. The t test in this study resulted in the reputation variable (X1) having a t count value of 3.186 > t table 1.98525 with a sig value. of 0.002 <0.05 which means that reputation has a significant effect on the decision to stay at the Blue Sky Hotel Petamburan Jakarta, the EWOM variable (X2) has a t count value of 0.085 <t table 1.98525 with a sig. of 0.932 > 0.05, which means that EWOM has no effect on the decision to stay at the Blue Sky Hotel Petamburan Jakarta, the price variable (X3) has a t count value of 0.154 <t table 1.98525 with a sig. of 0.878 > 0.05, which means that price has no effect on the decision to stay at the Blue Sky Hotel Petamburan Jakarta, the service quality variable (X4) has a t count value of 3.925 > t table 1.98525 with a sig value. 000 <0.05 which means that reputation has a significant effect on the decision to stay at the Blue Sky Hotel Petamburan Jakarta.
