Abstract

Employee performance is often influenced by two factors, such as selection and compensation. In this case researcher want to know the effect of selection and compensation on employee performance marketing division car company honda PT. Citra Cakra Persada in Surabaya. The data used by researchers is obtained from the questionnaire distributed to the marketing division with a total of 80 respondents. In the process of analysis and data if researchers use several methods to test the data. The test used isValidity Test, Reliability Test, Classic Assumption Test (Multicolonierity Test, eteroskedasticity Test, Normality Test), Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient Reflected, T test used 5% or 0.05. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained Sig value. On the selection variable (X1) that is 0,000 <0,05, the value of Sig. On the compensation variable (X2) is 0.278> 0.05, and the value is not Sig. Whileon T test, the result of variable value X1 = 10,829> 1,991, and variable X2 = 1,092 <1,991. After a series of tests that have been done, it is concluded that selection has a significant effect on employee performance, and compensation has no effect on employee performance.
