Abstract

The conditions in the villages of big cities are very alarming if observed closely where the arrangement carriedout by the government and the surrounding community is not well organized and the conditions are mostly unfit for habitation. Dirty village conditions, damaged water drainage channels and the amount of waste scattered are a concern for all parties This condition also has an adverse effect on all residents living in the village. Not to mention, the narrow condition of the house and the distance between residents' houses and the TPS (dumping place) are close to bringing various kinds of diseases in it. . Improvement needs to be done in the village with the aim that residents living around the village can feel comfortable to live there. Then rather than that, the service team conducts community service in the RT.011-RW.06 village, Kel. Nagagel Rejo, Surabaya with make an appropriate work program to deal with problems in kampung includes improvements to drainage, cleaning the village together and rejuvenating the village by painting on the streets around the village and is expected to run smoothly and can overcome the problems of the village, especially in terms of cleanliness and comfort.
