Abstract

The Consumer Goods sector is a sector that is currently experiencing rapid growth. In addition to its growth, the Consumer Goods industrial sector is the most capable of surviving amid the threat of a crisis. As with other sectors, the smooth running of a Consumer Goods company will not be separated from its financial performance. This study uses a quantitative research methodology. The research object chosen in this study is Return On Equity in the Consumer Goods sub-sector which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period. The data source used is a list of Consumer Goods companies whose data sources are taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results showed that the Debt To Equity Ratio proved to have a significant effect on the company's Return On Equity, the Debt To Asset Ratio did not prove to have a significant effect on the company's Return On Equity, and the Dividend Payout Ratio did not mediate the effect of Debt To Equity Ratio or Debt To Asset Ratio on Return On company Equity.
