Abstract

The research aims to examine the effect of Current Ratio, Return on Asset and Dividend Payout Ratio to the Price to Book Value. Population of this research is public companies in the banking sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with banking company as a sample. Sampling method uses purposive sampling method. Samples were collected from 11 banking companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2020. Data analysis technique uses classic assumptions test: normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorelation test, heteroscedasticity test, goodness of fit test, multiple linear regression analysis test, coefficient of determination test analysis (R²), and hypothesis test : partial test (t test). Based on the results of data processing using SPSS 25 are as follows: the normality test of the regression model is declared feasible with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov value of 0.086 and all variables have a Tolerance value > 0.10 and VIF < 10. In the results of the autocorrelation test, Durbin Watson's value was 1.931 which indicated that there was no autocorrelation. And the results of the heteroscedasticity test of all variables did not occur heteroscedasticity. The results of the feasibility test of the model were declared feasible with a value (Sig.) less than 0.05. The regression model equation obtained is as follows: Y = 125.319 – 1.332X1 + 1.018X2 + 50.215X3 and the coefficient of determination R Square is 0.503 or 50.3% which indicates that the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable has a significant relationship. Partially, The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio (X1) variable has no significant effect on Price to Book Value (Y) with a significance level of 0.584>0.05, Return on Assets variable (X2) has an significant effect on Price to Book Value (Y) with a significance level of 0.000<0.05, Dividend Payout Ratio (X3) variable has no significant effect on Price to Book Value (Y) with a significance level of 0.120>0,05. Future research can expand the number of samples, increase the research period and add variables such as Growth and Size.
