Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital consisting of Value Added Capital Employed (VACA), Value Added Human Capital (VAHU) and Structural Capital Value Added (STVA) on the profitability of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. will be proxied to Return on Equity (ROE).The population of this research is manufacturing companies that are consistently listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2019 period, totaling 122 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique. Based on the predetermined criteria, a sample of 44 companies was obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this study indicate: (1) VACA has a positive effect on Return on Equity (ROE) with a value of t count> t table (13.385> 1.603) and a significance level of 0.00. (2)VAHU has a positive effect on Equity (ROE) with a value of t count> t table (6.653> 1.603) and a significance level of 0.00. (3) STVA has a positive effect on Return on Equity (ROE) with a value of t count> t table (3.331> 1.630) and a significance level of 0.01.
