Abstract

Cooperative Elok Mekar Sari is one of the business entities engaged in the field of savings and loan services to its members but has constraints procedures that exist in the cooperative that is not in well applied so often the same mistake because the activities performed are not in accordance with the procedure. This study aims to improve the existing performance in the Cooperative Elok Mekar sari through the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or by following the procedures already set and already created by the Cooperative Elok Mekar sari. In this study using direct observation and interview techniques and using the type of data used are primary data and secondary data. For the preparation of written procedures made in the form of flowchart. The result of this research is clear procedure, authority and responsibility for every activity undertaken by Koperasi Elok Mekar Sari and from the result of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), it is found that the addition of cashier section so that the activity done can achieve effective result with how to follow the procedures set by the Elek Mekar Sari Cooperative.
