Abstract
Inventory Accounting Information Systems is one of the overall accounting information system globally. The development of information technology has benefits to improve the performance of the company and obtain information quickly and accurately. A trading company need inventory accounting information system to know about the final stock of goods as a reference in the decision-making process. Toko Agung Jaya is one of the businesses engaged in convection and located in Tulungagung, East Java. There is no recording ofgoods in and out makes it difficult to know the inventory status. The purpose of this research is to examine the design of accounting information systems adequate for Toko Agung Jaya. In this research using data collection techniques are documentation and interviews and the type ofdata used are primary data and secondary data. For accounting information system design using the Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD). Database design using a software called Microsoft Access 2007 to process data into information. The results ofthis research is a kind ofreports that can be used by Toko Agung Jaya in making decisions, including consists ofa inventories status report, reports the movement of goods, purchasing data report, sales data report, customers data report and suppliers data report. In addition, the inventory status report will showing the final stock ofgoods that can be useful as a report re-order the goods.
