Abstract

Human resource audit is a systematic examination and assessment, objective and documented on the organizational functions that are affected by human resource (HR) management with the aim of ensuring the fulfillment of the principle of appropriateness, effectiveness, efficiency and human resources to support the achievement of functional goals and objectives of the organization as a whole better for the medium term, and the long-term goal of this study was to determine how the application of HR audit in improving employee effectiveness in Surabaya Hotel Veni Vidi Vici. HR Audit carried out to achieve the goals of the organization as a whole through the evaluation of human resource activities used within an organization. Audit also provide feedback on the human resources function to the operations manager and human resources specialists. HR Audit results can be a valuable input for reference in making decisions or taking on HR policies so that human resource management can be more in line with long-term organizational planning. From these results it can be concluded that the human resource is the most critical element in an organization and is crucial in achieving corporate goals. One way to have a useful human resource in a company is the presence of a way to develop the performance of its employees effectively, but in practice there are still processes that are not running optimally, it is because the planning is not yet implemented a consistent with the procedures, although the function of HR Audit has been fulfilled.
