Abstract

Health is a very valuable thing because it is the basis for happiness, productivity, and a good quality of life. Many new diseases appear, and lifestyle changes greatly affect our health. Therefore, efforts to improve health must continue to be pursued. how to prevent disease traditionally by drinking herbal medicine and applying acupressure. Acupressure is the technique of applying pressure to acupuncture points without using needles. Acupressure can be done on yourself without the help of others. Community service activities are carried out on March 18, 2023, from 13.00 to 15.00 in Wonocolo sub-district, Surabaya City. The purpose of this activity is to make people aware of the importance of health and provide knowledge to the community on how to maintain their own health with self-acupressure. This activity uses the methods of lecture, discussion, and practice together. To monitor the success of the activity, questionnaires were distributed before and after the activity. From the results of community service before the counseling activities, the average value of counseling was 3.55, and after counseling, the average value obtained was 8.95. The results of community service activities have succeeded in providing benefits to participants by increasing their knowledge and skills.
