Abstract

Empty land in populous residential areas such as in the city of Surabaya is a frequent problem, actually land use can bring benefits if managed properly. That is what we want to instill in residents of RT 04 RW 03 Gang XIV-A KedungBaruk, Surabaya. The proper use of land can bring additional economy to the surrounding community. The results of community service are expected to help the community in utilizing empty land with the cultivation of economically valuable hydroponic plants. This guidance is expected so that parents and their children can be more aware that the environment they have can produce resources that they can manage can be a source of income for themselves, besides that the environment becomes more beautiful and neatly organized with the replanting of land or places that can still be planted.
