Abstract

The growth of the business world as well as the increasingly competitive economic atmosphere, affect the development of each company. The value of the company is the basis of investors' view of the company's success rate in managing and allocating its resources. The company's increasing value shows that the company has achieved its achievements in the welfare of its shareholders. Increasing the value of the company, of course, the company must have more value compared to other companies. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of blockholder ownership, intangible assets, and company size on the value of the company that is proxy with the Price Earning Ratio (PER). The object of this research was a food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing company registered in the IDX period 2016-2019 with a total sample of 72. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression methods. Data analysis techniques are performed using classic assumption tests, model feasibility tests, and hypothesis tests. Based on the results of the research conducted showed that blockholder ownership has a positive and significant effect on the value of the company, intangible assets do not affect the value of the company, and the size of the company has a positive and significant effect on the value of the company. Simultaneously the free variables in this study have a significant effect on the bound variables that are the value of the company.
