Abstract

Accounting Information Systems Sales, Receivables and Cash Receipts are part of the overall Accounting Information System globally. The rapid development of technology is useful to improve the company's performance to be more effective and efficient and obtain information quickly and accurately. A company would need an accounting information system to be a guide as a procedure of business activities, decision making and to facilitate when requiring information. CV. Asia is one of the plastic packaging manufacturing company located in Surabaya, East Java. The absence of a system of accounting information on sales, accounts receivable and cash receipts in writing and uneven computerization system leads to difficulties in making decisions and making reports quickly. The purpose of this study is to provide the design of accounting information systems sales, receivables and cash receipts as needed and database system design for the CV. Asia. In this study using data collection techniques that are direct observation, interviews and documentation and data types used are primary data and secondary data. For the design of written accounting information system created in the form of flowchart and database design using Microsoft Access 2007 tools that can process data into an information. The result of this research is clear procedure, authority and responsibility for every sales activity both cash and credit up to cash receipt and types of reports that can be used by CV. Asia in making decisions, including consist of inventory reports, sales reports, purchasing reports, supplier data reports, customer data reports.
